Take a walk around KUKLOS
Geteillon hiking trail
Located opposite the Kuklos, the small summit of Geteillon is easily accessible on foot in just 15 minutes. The slightly uphill path leads to a unique viewpoint from which you can admire the glass façades and distinctive shape of the Kuklos.
If you’re feeling more sporty, you can also take the footpath from the summit back down to Leysin, with a one-and-a-half-hour walk back down to the resort.
Via Ferrata of Tour d'Aï
Opposite the KUKLOS sits the majestic Tour D’Aï, Leysin’s most iconic peak and a paradise for climbers and Via Ferrata enthusiasts.
With its aerial views over Lake Geneva, the Valais Alps and Mt Blanc, the Tour d’Aï Via Ferrata is one of the most beautiful in the country and a must-do in Switzerland.
To get to the start, take the cable car (June to October) up to La Berneuse. At the exit, turn right as far as Lac d’Aï and follow the yellow “via ferrata de la Tours d’Aï” signs.
Allow 40 minutes for the approach walk from the Kuklos.
Paragliding tandem flight
Take to the skies, glide through the air like a bird and admire the Vaud Alps, the Chablais plain and Lake Geneva from above. The experience of a paragliding flight and its feeling of freedom will leave a lasting impression on your mind and heart.
In just ten minutes, the cable car will take you to the summit of the Berneuse, at an altitude of 2048 m. The take-off area is just a few steps from the Kuklos revolving restaurant. Tandem flights are available all year round for everyone.
Guided by an expert and in complete safety, enjoy a flight with a fantastic view of the Dents du Midi, Mont Blanc and, further afield, Lake Geneva, which stretches as far as the eye can see between Montreux and Evian.
Lake Yaka
For a moment of relaxation, Lac Yaka is located just below the Kuklos revolving restaurant. It’s the ideal place to enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Geneva from La Berneuse.
The ice-covered lake is also worth a visit in winter.
Downhill & Freestyle skiing in winter
Just opposite the KUKLOS you’ll find the Leysin snowpark and its Halfpipe. Slide down the Berneuse piste to reach this area, which is unique in French-speaking Switzerland. The snowpark offers beginners and experts alike plenty of fun on skis and in the air.
